Editorial Policy

This page explains how LabelWise Health researches, writes and updates its content.

How we research

  • We start with official and primary sources, including the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements (ods.od.nih.gov), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (fda.gov) and other government or peer-reviewed sources.
  • For product information, we use the manufacturer’s own label and Supplement Facts panel, and we say which version of the label we looked at when it matters.
  • We link to our sources so you can check them yourself.
  • We do not invent test results, reviews, ratings or expert credentials.

How we write

We aim for plain English and avoid hype. We describe what a label says and what official sources say about an ingredient; we don’t claim that any supplement diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents a disease.

Updates and corrections

We review published guides regularly, at least once a year, and sooner when a label, official guidance or a product changes. Each article shows the date it was last updated. If you spot an error, please contact us and we will review it and correct it where needed.

Independence and affiliate links

We may earn commissions from affiliate links, as explained in our Affiliate Disclosure. We do not accept paid placements that change our conclusions, and brands cannot buy a better position in our comparisons.
